The primary goal of the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers is to remove any non-academic barriers to learning as a means to enhance student academic success. The Family Resource Center offers programs and services determined by the needs of the population being served, available resources, location and other local characteristics.
The Family Resource and Youth Services Centers program mission is to enhance students’ abilities to succeed in school by developing and sustaining partnerships that promote:
Early learning and successful transition to school.
Academic achievement and well-being.
Graduation and transition into adult life.
The goal of the Family Resource and Youth Services Centers is to meet the needs of all children and their families who reside in the community or neighborhood served by the school in which the center is located. To achieve this goal, the FRC has been granted the flexibility to create programming that meets the unique needs of the families.
