Mission Statement

The mission of the Johnson Central Career and Technical Education Guidance and Counseling Program is to provide a comprehensive approach to the development of each student’s academic, career, and personal/social competence through collaboration with students, staff, parents, and community.

Johnson Central High School offers 27 different career majors with many partnering student organizations in a wide variety of areas including Animal Science, Horticulture, Ag Power, Structural and Tech Systems, Accounting, Management & Entrepreneurship, Marketing, Multimedia Publishing, Telemedia, Education, Allied Health, Pre-Nursing, Biomedical Sciences, Culinary, Information, Technology, Web Design, and Engineering, with so many individual choices for our students, it is easy to see why no school in the state of Kentucky can match the number of programs that Johnson Central provides to help our students achieve transition readiness.
