The Johnson County School District recognized outstanding student achievement during the April 28 board meeting. The JCHS and JCMS Academic Teams were honored as Governor’s Cup Runners-Up, reflecting their dedication, preparation, and strong academic performance.
The JCHS Cheerleaders were also recognized for an exceptional season, earning runner-up honors at both the 2A State Championship and the KHSAA Sweet 16. Their commitment, teamwork, and school pride were evident throughout their performances.
The Golden Eagle Award, a symbol of excellence across our district, was presented to Andrea Daniels and Marilyn Ratliff in recognition of their contributions and impact. These recognitions reflect The Gold Standard and the continued commitment to excellence across Johnson County Schools.
