You can pick up a bulk breakfast and lunch food box containing 5 days worth of meals for any child age birth to 18 on Wednesday, March 3 from 9:30 am until 5:30pm. The food boxes can be picked up at ANY school closest to your home and is open to any child, regardless of their school district.
Last week, our phenomenally hard working JCHS cafeteria staff and helpers distributed 834 boxes alone, equalling 8340 meals for children. They look forward to serving you again tomorrow!
Remember, the free food boxes are available at ANY school in the county: Porter, Highland, Central Elem, WR Castle, Flat Gap, JCMS, or JCHS.
If you choose to visit JCHS, you will enter through the front doors in the bus loading area. Let the receptionist know your last name and how many boxes you are picking up. You will have a seat while they pack your box(es). They will call your name when yours is ready. Grab your box and go.
