Attention K-8 Parents, Guardians, and Students:

We're starting our mid-year assessments tomorrow, Monday, December 4th. These assessments play a critical role in identifying each child's strengths and areas for improvement. To help your child do their best, please ensure they:

  1. Arrive on Time: Being punctual helps your child start the day calmly and focused.
  2. Eat a Healthy Breakfast: A nutritious meal is vital for energy and concentration.
  3. Get Plenty of Rest: Adequate sleep is crucial for optimal cognitive function.
  4. Wear Glasses if Necessary: Proper vision is key for reading and understanding the test materials.

The upcoming assessments, including STAR Early Literacy/STAR and i-Ready Diagnostics, are vital in accurately determining the most suitable learning pathways for our students. Ensuring we gather precise data from these assessments is crucial for tailoring instruction. Let's all work together to make this a successful assessment week!

Please share this post with friends and family who have K-8 students to spread the word. Let's all support our students in achieving their best!
