Flat Gap Elementary Pumpkin Patch is ready for business this morning! We want to send a big Thank You to Griffith Family Farms and Mr. Patrick for hosting our pumpkin patch and hay ride for all our Greyhounds! Today, each student will choose a pumpkin that they will be decorating after fall break in Ms. Lutz' STREAM class! More photos to come!

Mrs. Davis' 4th Graders earned some face time with their class pet, Spike, on Friday. These individual students scored a perfect 100% on their reading comprehension assessments, and the whole class earned some group time with him for doing so well on the exam! As we study to prepare for our Farm and Field Leadership Day, our students are interviewing local farmers and producers in our community! We had the pleasure of hosting a digital meet with the owner of our local Curvy Creek Farm, Renae Plaxico, who shared her experience as a beekeeper and producer of honey! 🍯 🐝
