Mrs. Reed’s 6th grade class is taking up donations for our local animal shelter as a 4H project. All donations are accepted EXCEPT raw hide bones. Anything you would like to donate you can bring in to the school. Items are due Feb. 25th. Thanks for any help!!

Johnson County Schools will be in session Thursday, February 13th operating on a 2 hour delay.


Classes will begin at 9:45 am today. Be safe and we will see you at the Gap! Morning LIFT will start at 9:15 am

First graders learned about Newton’s first law with snowflakes! They explored snowflakes at rest and in motion. They learned about push, pull, gravity, and inclines!

Due to some roads being covered with backwaters and more rain on the way Johnson County Schools will be on a 2 hour delay. This will prevent buses and staff from traveling before daylight and provide additional time to reassess the situation.
