2019 Reading Recovery and K-6 Literacy Conference


Mrs. Patrick’s kindergarten and 1st grade students are using valentines to practice number and letter recognition!



Our 4th/5th grade academic team competed in the county tournament tonight. Several students placed in writtens, 1st place overall winners, and 1st place in Quick Recall! They also won 1st place in Quick Recall for the season and overall 3rd for the season! Go Greyhounds!



Mrs.O’Bryan’s Fourth Grade students constructed water wheels. Then students discussed how hydropower is a renewable energy and can even generate electricity.

They competed SO well today at Governors Cup District tournament!!
They were Runner-up in Quick Recall!!
Suzy Kretzer placed 1st in Language Arts and Arts and Humanities!
Delilah Back placed 2nd in Arts and Humanities!
Brady Ferguson placed 4th in Arts and Humanities!
They were also chosen by the other teams to win the Katherine Hume sportsmanship award!
