5th and 6th grade were bragged on continuously this week and especially today! They were such amazing leaders this morning during the flag ceremony, and then to top it all off, they finished all diagnostics!
Reward was having lunch outside on the new picnic tables!! It was such a nice treat!

The Auxier VFW Post 5389 assisted with our Flag Retirement Ceremony and the hoisting of our new American Flag this morning.
They provided a lesson on the American Flag for our student body and mentorship for our Flat Gap Flag Crew Captain, Jackson Cole.

Mrs. Trimble's 2nd grade class engaged while learning how to make a ten during math class. Student's discussed with shoulder partner how to make a ten while practicing addition strategies.
Mr. McCloud's 3/4 grade students used a number line to learn about rounding to the nearest ten. Kagan strategies were embedded thoughtout the lesson.
Lady Greyhounds are selling Mums! Orders are due back August 30th.
Mrs. Sublett's Magnetic Reading group completed the Kagan Structure Mix-Pair-Share to segment and blend short a CVC words.
So proud of these amazing young reader/writers! They spent the morning analyzing text and attacking unknown words using word parts and context clues! Way to go ladies #wegofirst
