Our 4-H Focus - Develop healthy snack habits. What a great year of learning!
From fruit charcuterie boards to healthy trail mix to counting calories in our sports drinks, we are now armed with the information to make good choices! Thank you to our awesome 4-H leaders!!
STLP-Reader Leaders introduced 1st grade students to a link on their Clever app to track their reading goals and receive a certificate for meeting their individual goal.
5th graders use Coordinate Grids to send coded messages.
At FGES, Math enrichment is a great part of Greyhound Grit!
6th grade students in Mrs.Lutz's class are getting very good at using soft pastels.
Flatgap Elementary Band students received a shipment of two percussion kits and a set of crash cymbals as part of the Mr. Holland's Opus Foundation Grant and Chris Stapleton's Outlaw State of Kind. As you can see, they were very excited!

Mrs. Pennington helped 3rd graders develop their own President Projects. Students used graphic organizers, completed a writing and a google slide presentation about their favorite president! Way to go Greyhounds! 🐾

Geometry experts at work! 5th graders creating displays to share the Geometry they have been learning.
5th grade math fun! Students created visual learning models to display the geometry they have been learning. If you see a 5th grade Greyhound, ask them to describe a polygon or to tell you about the different types of triangles.
