Mrs. Bevin's students didn’t catch a leprechaun yesterday.
They are just too clever! They left behind gold, candy, and a big mess!
Memories were made that students will remember for a lifetime!! 🍀

What a special morning at Flat Gap Elementary!
Appalachian Musician and Teacher, Melanie Turner concluded her five session lessons with our Greyhound 5th Graders with a beautiful performance! In collaboration with Flat Gap Teacher, Mrs. Jeanne Reed, Mrs. Turner brought this fantastic grant program to life!
Because of our amazing non profit organizations such as Healing Appalachia, the Mountain Grrl Experience, Arts for All Kentucky and Can'd Aid from Longmont, Colorado, EACH of our 5th Grade students received a Ukulele, a gig bag, an instrument maintenance kit, and five lessons from professional musicians!
More Pics to Come!
