5th and 6th grade traveled to Morehead today to enjoy some fabulous stories told by the folks at the Cave Run Storytelling Festival! Our venue was changed to MSU Campus but we considered it a plus getting to visit the beautiful campus of Morehead State University! Thank you parents and Mrs. Goble for supporting us on this trip! The kids represented The Gap well!! (2/2)

Flat Gap 5th and 6th Graders enjoyed their day on the campus of Morehead State University listening to storytellers from all over Appalachia, the Amish Country, and as far away as NYC!

Mr. Mollette introduced three dimensional shapes during 6th grade Math. Students created their own three dimensional shape and discussed the difference between three dimensional and two dimensional shapes.
Students in 3rd grade are using Nearpod to learn about Fall and Photosynthesis.

Anna, Jackson, and Greyson helped bag up food for the Family Resource Center Back Pack Program!
The program has helped many kids with food for the weekends.

5th and 6th grade Language Arts classes are so lucky to have an expert writing teacher on hand to collaborate with Mrs. Davis!! Mrs. Pennington took the lead today and taught students how to use the R.A.C.E. Strategy to answer short answer questions and Extended responses.
