Camp Read a Lot was an amazing success in Mrs. Bevins' class today! Our 6th grade Reader Leaders helped the first graders pass 51 Accelerated Reading Tests!

We had some special visitors today! Thing 1 and Thing 2 caused chaos during our visit from Mr. Cochran. We appreciate Mr. Cochran and his storytelling. Mrs. O'Bryan also shared one of her favorite books and had everyone doing the Cool Cat Boogie from Pete the Cat. Read Across America has been fantastic!!!










Our Community Problem Solving team, The Regulators, has been working hard on their self regulation project. One aspect of their project is making calming videos for students, and anyone else for that matter, to use when they are at home. Check out their first 2 videos and be sure to subscribe! ❤️

Music therapy can help primary school students develop social and emotional skills, communication, and self-esteem. It can also help children manage stress JCHS Junior Ava O'Bryan and Senior Lexi Parrigin showcased a mini musical therapy lesson with our Flat Gap first graders. Ava and Lexi are completing FCCLA musical therapy project and enjoyed working with our Greyhounds!!
