
JCMS Baseball Tryouts - 2023
Tryouts are open to to 7th and 8th grade students at JCMS. In addition, tryouts are open to 6th grade students who have aged out of Cal Ripken. All students planning to attend the tryout will need to provide the coach a copy of a completed physical to participate in the tryout. Tryouts are tentatively scheduled to begin on or after February 13th, 2023. Please fill out the attached google form if interested.

🐾 Booster Meeting Thursday the 5th at 3:15 pm. Attend this meeting to help decide future fundraisers, events, and sign up for days we need parent volunteers! Meeting should only take about 45 min of your time and we would love to include you in the conversation about creating the best school experience for our kids! This meeting is open to any parent/Guardian K-6 .🐾

Mrs. Barker’s Kindergarten Class had a great day with their visitor “Momma Elf”. It’s so special when not only a retired teacher but also family comes to share the holiday spirit and joy of learning with our students. 🎄♥️





Mrs. Combs’ Kindergarten class enjoyed reading a little Christmas book to the headstart class today!


Mrs. Osborne’s class worked on comparing and contrasting the differences between Australia’s Christmas traditions and our Christmas traditions today!





Some of our primary students enjoyed listening to The Polar Express and drinking some hot chocolate this morning! Thank you, Mrs. Patton!





We were fortunate to have Mrs. Shauna Patton with us today to share The Polar Express. We are pleased to report that adults and children could all hear the bell from Santa's sleigh.

6th Grade Student Leaders had a fantastic trip to the WYMT studio in Hazard today, to learn more about what goes into news production and broadcasting so that they might be able to add to their Greyhound News show in the mornings. Thanks to Brandon Robinson for giving us a tour!
