For the safety of our students and to help reduce traffic as we prepare for afternoon dismissal and bus releases, all afternoon pick-ups/sign-outs will end at 2:30 p.m.
If you need to pick up your child early, please plan to arrive before 2:30 p.m. After that time, students will need to follow their normal dismissal procedures.

In remembrance of September 11th, Mrs. Bevins' classroom created paper bag books and learned about some of the heroes from that day. We also talked about how communities can come together to help out those in need.
Big Sandy Community and Technical College visited Highland Elementary's 5th-grade students, providing instruction on proper hygiene. Each student received a gift bag containing hygiene supplies.
