Mrs. Bevins' first grade class did an amazing job during Readership Day on Friday. They presented their book reports to various people in the classroom as well as to other grade levels in the library. I couldn't be anymore proud of their hard work and creativity with their costumes and reports!

Mrs. Bayes and Mrs. Wright’s 6th-grade classes had an excellent day at the circus for Readership Day. This event served as a fitting conclusion to Read Across America Week. The students demonstrated remarkable creativity in their decorations and brilliantly showcased their leadership skills by sharing research about the circus. They composed informative pieces and created video presentations. It was a great day to be a Wildcat.

Highland Elementary hosted its first Leadership Day today! Our students were nothing short of amazing as they hosted community members, participated in panel discussions, informed visitors about how our school is run, presented their leadership binders, and presented class projects. Thank you to every community member who joined us today. A video of today's events will be coming soon, but for now, here's a few photos.

King Barrett reigned proud at Highland Elementary today! We hope he continues to receive the royal treatment all weekend.

Congratulations to our 4th and 5th grade academic team for winning the county championship! 🐾💙
