Each year, artwork created in Kentucky is displayed at the Rx and Illicit Drug Summit. Fifth- and sixth-grade students at Highland Elementary worked on one of this year's paintings under the direction of art instructor Kenna Spears.

JCMS SOFTBALL TRYOUTS
Due to various school events, softball tryouts have been pushed to Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday!


Important announcement:


Ms. Greene's students dedicated their morning to studying contractions. Collaboratively, they corrected slides and employed the KAGAN strategy pair coach to accurately spell contractions. As a concluding activity, they successfully completed a Walk the Room exercise. Well done, second graders!


Today in Mrs. Wheeler’s science class, students are reading an informational text, “Arguing to Solve a Mystery” to review the importance of evidence in making an argument.
