Check out Summer Swim!!!

Second graders had a blast during camping day. We sang campfire songs, ate s'mores and told stories around the campfire.

Second grade had such an exciting week! They played board games, went on a reward trip to Gatti Land, tie-dyed, and enjoyed a PJ and movie day. On Tuesday, they had a blast camping, eating s'mores, and singing campfire songs. Then on Friday, they spent the day training to become baristas—designing their own drinks, participating in a book tasting, and indulging in cookies, cakes, and drinks. We can't wait to have more fun next week!

Second graders had so much fun tie- dying shirts. We can't wait to wear them for field day.

Second graders had fun during Starbucks Day! They created a plan for a new drink, and enjoyed drinks and muffins while they completed a book review from a book tasting.

She may be tiny, but this Queen can rule the school with the best of them! Happy Queen Day Peyton!

Tonight we had the pleasure of honoring our 6th grade students. More pics will come later, but for now, here are some of their outstanding achievements in iReady, academics, and sports. (Post 3 of 3.)

Disney Day in Mrs. Bevins’ classroom was epic just like Mickey Mouse. We started our adventure with a plane ride to Walt Disney World . Then we got off the plane and used our magic bands at the most magical place on Earth. We had the best time using our imaginations riding the rides, laughing with our friends, playing games, exercising, and singing. We ended our adventure with fireworks, juices, and popcorn at the castle. We definitely had the best time ever today!

Happy King and Queen Day to these royals!

These two ruled Highland Elementary today! We hope their day was fabulous.

I may have missed Administrative Assistant Day, but there’s no way I’m letting National Receptionist Day go by without shouting out two of the absolute BEST!
To my incredible secretaries — you are the hardest workers, the most dependable humans, and truly the heartbeat of our school. I honestly believe you'd fight a bear for me… okay, maybe not a grizzly or brown bear, but definitely a baby panda bear — and that kind of loyalty is priceless!!!!
You are worth far more than I could ever pay you, and I trust you completely to help me keep this fabulous school running smoothly.
Thank you for everything you do, every single day. I am beyond grateful for you both! You are LOVED!

Second grade students in Mrs. Adkins' class were rewarded with a new book from the vending machine and chose a new smelly bookmark because they have exceeded the end of year AR goal.

Congrats to Miss Fairchild's 5th grade students for completing their Too Good for Drugs program! Thank you Miss Anita Sturgill for helping us in this learning journey. 💙🤍🐾 #UNITE
