The fourth grade class celebrates the 100th day of school!
5th / 6th grade UNITE Club members and other students at Highland Elementary created kindness posters and Valentines for Veterans. The posters and cards will be delivered to VAMC in Lexington just in time for Valentine's Day.
Due to the likelihood of inclement weather this week, Johnson County District has altered our meal pickup schedule. The five-day breakfast & lunch bulk boxes for kids age 18 & under will be available for pickup today from 9:30 a.m. to 5:30 p.m at all Johnson County School locations.

First graders became detectives today and solved the mystery of who kidnapped Punxsutawney Phil!

Highland UNITE has organized a coat drive with the slogan " Put a Coat in the Tote" everyone in the community is encouraged to drop off new or gently used coats at Highland Elementary School between 9am and 3pm.

Santa Claus visits first grade meet! He read their letters and answered lots of questions about the North Pole, reindeer and the elves. He assured them he was prepared for his visit and wished them all a Merry Christmas!

ATTENTION Highland Wildcats!!! PLEASE join us for our Wildcat Christmas drive through at Highland Elementary on Thursday, December 17th from 6:00-8:00. Come see SANTA, the GRINCH and our very own Highland WILDCAT. Enjoy hot chocolate and cookies. View our Christmas tree displays with ornaments made by the students.
