Johnson Central Highs School wants to send condolences to the family of Dicky Martin and the Ashland Tomcat community. Mr. Martin has given Eastern KY some amazing calls on the radio of several sporting events throughout his career. He will be greatly missed by all.

Parents and Guardians please read this notice from our Youth Service Center concerning changes to the Angel Tree this year:
Dear Parents and Guardians,
As the holiday season approaches, we are once again preparing for our Youth Service Center
Angel Tree Program. This program provides support to students and families during Christmas,
and we are grateful to be able to continue it.
We want to make you aware that the process for this year will be different from years past.
In order to ensure that we are serving students with the greatest need, all students must be
referred by school staff to participate in the Angel Tree. Families will not be able to sign up
directly as in previous years. Once a student has been referred, the Youth Service Center will
reach out to the family with additional information and next steps.
We know that changes can sometimes cause confusion, and we want to assure you that this
process is designed to make sure resources are distributed fairly and effectively. If you have any
questions, please contact the Youth Service Center at 606-789-8895 or
becky.estep@johnson.kyschools.us.
Thank you for your understanding, and for the continued support you give our school and
students.
Sincerely,
Becky Estep, Youth Service Center Coordinator

This month at JCHS, we're focusing on Habit 3: Put First Things First!
This habit is all about prioritizing your life and doing the most important things first. It's the difference between doing what's urgent and what's truly important. This month, let's all make a list and get the most important things done first!
