King's Daughters Medical Center Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is making a stop at Johnson Central to provide FREE SPORTS PHYSICALS to the community!

Students in welding classes have been learning to weld aluminum for the solar car. Senior Braydon Price has excelled and has been passing on his knowledge to others. Special thanks to Mr. Chuck Wetzel for filling in and working hard with the young welders in an exciting project.





If you are interested on being one of two parent representatives on the JCHS School-Based Decision Making Council, please drop by the JCHS main office between 8am and 3:30 pm May 2-16 to complete a short parent nomination form. To be eligible to run for election, you must be a parent of a JCHS student for the 2022-2023 school year and be available for bimonthly meetings after school. Election ballot names will include those who are nominated. The parent election will be Thursday, May 19 at JCHS from 8am until 6pm.

Brooke Ritz, a 2018 graduate of JCHS and Craft Academy and a 2022 graduate of UofL college of engineering visited our engineering students today. She currently works at Material Handling Systems as a controls engineer and gave part of her day to inspire future engineers!
