Tonight’s first ever JCHS book club discussion was over Mary Beth Keane’s tale of mental illness and forgiveness entitled “Ask Again, Yes.” We had a fantastic chat about the novel with each other and the author through her Instagram account. The meal at Angie’s Cast Iron Grill was amazing as well. Stay tuned for next month’s book choice, meeting date, and location. All are welcome to join! Students, faculty, community, and readers alike! Johnson Central would like to announce that Kayla Moore VanHoose will be taking on a new role as Sports Information Director. In order to focus on the duties of her new role, VanHoose has decided to step away from coaching volleyball at JCHS. We look forward to her contributions in her new role and would like to thank her for her hard work and dedication as volleyball coach. Her youth league initiative has sparked interest in volleyball at a young age for students throughout our school district and should lead to future success for our program. Her promotion of our student athletes has been outstanding, and in her new role, we especially look forward to her helping many more students in our school achieve their goals of earning college scholarships.
