PAWS Weekly Schedule

Dear Porter Families,
We’re excited to announce that our Scholastic Book Fair will be held Monday, October 27th through Friday, October 31st here at Porter Elementary! This is always such a fun event that helps build excitement around reading while also supporting our school.
This year, we’re introducing two exciting features — Book Fair eWallet and Share the Fair!
📚 Book Fair eWallet
The Book Fair eWallet is the easiest way for students to shop the Fair cash-free, worry-free, and independently. Families can easily set up an eWallet account on our Book Fair homepage: https://bookfairs.scholastic.com/bf/porterelementaryschool
You can add funds using a credit card, apply a Scholastic eGift balance, or invite friends and family to contribute. Funds are available immediately and can be added at any time.
After the Fair ends and registers close, any unspent funds will automatically become a Scholastic eGift balance in your Scholastic account. You can then:
-Use the balance to fund a new eWallet for a future Book Fair.
-Shop online with Scholastic.
-Contribute any portion to our school’s Share the Fair™ account.
Account holders will receive a monthly email with their balance to make it easy to keep track and use the funds later.
💖 Share the Fair
We’re also excited to try something new this year called Share the Fair. During checkout, all purchases will be automatically rounded up to the next dollar, and those extra cents will go into a special fund to help provide books for students who might not have money to shop.
Families can also choose to contribute directly to the Share the Fair fund through their eWallet or on our Book Fair homepage. Our goal is to ensure every child has the opportunity to take home a book and share in the joy of reading.
If you have any questions or concerns about Share the Fair, please don’t hesitate to reach out. We’re trying this out for the first time and simply want to make the Book Fair a fun and inclusive experience for all of our students.
