Governor Andy Beshear presented a $10 million grant from the School Facilities Construction Commission to build a new Career and Technical Education Center. This center will be part of the new Johnson Central High School construction. This grant will help ensure the students of Johnson County have equitable access to multiple career pathways. Mrs. Charlene Owens and CES PLCs used Wonders writing rubrics and anchor papers to provide valuable feedback to students. CES will score writings a minimum of three times a year in grade-level PLCs and share vertically to ensure school-wide writing consistency. Way to go, CES!
