Mrs. Owens and Mrs. Wright collaborated on 5th and 6th Science Through Course Tasks today. The students were so engaged and showed off their science thinking by performing tests, making observations, creating data tables, analyzing models and writing explanations.

Ms. Kelli Ratliff, Mr. Dustin Blair, Mrs. TIna McKenzie, and Mrs. Charlene Owens represented Central Elementary today at the KVEC Virtual FIre Summit! Each received Learning Innovation Grants for up to $1000.00 for their classrooms/school to purchase resources for students after identifying a specific challenge.

Mrs. McKenzie’s 1st graders learned about sound vibrations in their science station investigations today. These kids are awesome scientists.
Mrs. Holbrook's 3rd graders are so excited to learn more about planets and the social system through research after being introduced to the subject in their reading story this week.

Our CES Volley Eagles participated in the Volleyrama tonight at JCMS. We are very Proud of the girls effort tonight and excited for the season.
M Hill’s 6th graders are building their own Nearpod lessons on grammar. They will teach these lessons to their classmates.
There will be no Volleyball practice today 11/3/21. We will play tomorrow night in the Panorama at JCMS.
This AMAZING group of students have been the school's iReady Time-On-Task winners for 5 weeks in a row. If you see a CES 4th grader, congratulate them for their hard work. They met their goal within 2 weeks and surpassed it. Way to Go!
