Mrs. Wright's 6th grade social studies classes have been studying Early Humans and enjoyed creating a mural of things Early Humans used or created!! 💙🤍💙🤍
Last week Mrs. Bevins' class worked on learning ways to make ten. We practiced using the Choose a Chip Kagan structure, ten frame pop its, and a Blooket game. It was a great week of math learning!
Mrs. Bevins' class has been working on addition this week. We used dice today to create addition equations with our shoulder partners.

Second grade students practiced Kagan structures to get to know all about each other.
4th graders practiced new Kagan strategies today! They had so much fun moving around the room and talking with each classmate during Quiz, Quiz, Trade!

Gymnastics with Ms. Jackie will begin on August 15th at 3:00 PM and cheerleaders will be having their class at 4:00 PM. If your student is planning on staying after school, please send a note for their homeroom teacher.
Any former or current Highland football players from last season if you have jerseys, shoulder pads, or helmets those need to be returned back to school ASAP so this years team can have those available to use. Thank you for your help!
