Incoming 8th grade students from JCMS visited the high school yesterday for the Opportunity Fair to explore the 34 career pathways that will be offered to them next year! They had the opportunity to meet current high school students involved in each career pathway to help them decide what classes they may want to take. We're a little late posting but a few students from Mrs. Collett and Mr. Ross' class attended a pancake workshop on Thursday with CWTP. They learned about measuring and making pancakes/waffles. They deemed there company “Waffle Kings”. They completed several orders from start to finish including making deliveries!
Huge congratulations to Kaylyn McKenzie! She has been selected as Johnson Central’s representative for WSAZ’s Best in Class, an incredible honor recognizing the region’s top academic achievers.
Kaylyn earned this recognition through a rigorous blind scoring process that considered GPA, ACT score, AP exam success, state testing performance, and the number of dual credit, honors, and AP courses completed.
Congratulations to the JCHS Wrestling Team on having several wrestlers recognized on the All Region Team! Congratulations also to head coach Blake Gamble for being named Region Coach of the Year!
