Johnson County Middle School

Students in Mrs. Patrick's Math 7A classroom took a trip to Crab Island and explored collecting samples to make inferences about populations. Students explained to peers what samples were representative and how samples could be corrected to become more representative. These students were the best crab investigators around! Crab-tastic work, 7 Black!! 🦀✨

JCMS students joined with JCHS students this morning for See You At The Pole, a national day of prayer when students are given the choice to join this classmates in prayer for this school and community. This is organized by JCMS & JCHS FCA groups.

These girls have put in the time, effort, and dedication throughout their basketball journey, and tonight is all about recognizing them and the memories they’ve made along the way.

We are so proud of our 8th graders and can’t wait to see them take the court tonight! Let’s pack the gym and show these girls some love! 📣🏀

Although the weather wasn't feeling it students and staff at JCMS had a great evening at FALL FUN NIGHT!! Students enjoyed inflatables, s'mores, hotdogs, games and karaoke!! Thank you to our Student Council for sponsoring!!

We want to shout out these 8th graders for getting their weekly iReady goals! They worked hard and earned some reward time before the weekend hits 🙌🏼💛

Mrs. Patrick's Math 7A students are growing and showing their leadership skills! Students became the teacher with a Jigsaw Walk and Talk. Their explanations were second to none, as expected from these awesome mathematicians. The Quiz Quiz Trade was the finishing touch to solidify understand of box and dot plots. 🦅💛

We would like to introduce the brand new JCMS FCA Huddle, also known as The Fellowship of Christian Eagles 🦅. Devotions have been lead by teachers Paula Pleasant and Casey Salyers with a guest visit from Bryan Maynard, East KY FCA Area Director. We are also so proud of our students, Mason Burchett and Maddox Burt, who have lead the huddles in prayer. We would like to invite all JCMS students to join us every Wednesday at 7:30am in room 161.
