JCMS and JCHS are on a soft lockdown out of an abundance of caution due to a shoplifter fleeing from police officers in the area. School will dismiss on time with additional supervision. Thanks to the Johnson County Sheriff's Department for providing officials at school locations and the plaza.

Johnson County Middle School Agriculture students visited Scott Ratilff at WSIP today to promote their community service project for Johnson County Animal Services. Students wrote and recorded an ad for their campaign. JCMS will be collecting both supplies and money for the animal shelter until May 7th. All items can be dropped off at the school.
