Our Academic Eagles kicked off the 24-25 season this week attending summer camp at Berea College. After a week of learning and quick recall, Michael Parr placed first in individual science quick recall and Jaxon Sturgill placed first in individual language arts quick recall. This looks to be the beginning of an amazing season.

JCMS & JCHS girls basketball players, parents and coaches had the opportunity to attend "Save Your Breathe" a vaping prevention program presented by Mountain Regional Prevention Center. It was an informative and eye opening experience!!
JCMS Cheerleaders hosted their 2nd annual fishing tournament fundraiser this weekend at Paintsville Lake. They had an outstanding turn-out of 29 boats!!! The “big fish” winner of 3 pounds 11 ounces won a Shimano SLX reel. The 1st place overall weigh-in winner of 7 pounds 3 ounces won $1,000+ cash. The 2nd place and 3rd place finishers also won cash prizes! The JCMS Cheer Squad would like to thank our sponsors that made this event successful.
