It's cross country time!!! Let's dust off our tennis shoes and start pounding the lake trail! Practice will begin Monday, August 10th at the lake. Bring plenty of water for your runner. Can't wait to see all your smiling faces!!!
(Please have a physical completed for your child. Our first race is at the end of this month, so we need to cover a lot of ground!!)

🦅 CES Eagles Are Ready to SOAR! 🦅
Tomorrow, our 2nd–5th grade students will begin their Beginning-of-the-Year Diagnostic Assessments.
These assessments help our teachers see what students already know and where we can best support their growth this year. We simply want every student to give their best effort!
Parents and families can help by making sure students:
* 😴 Get a good night’s sleep and go to bed on time.
* ⏰ Arrive at school on time and ready for the day.
* 🍳 Eat a good breakfast at home or at school.
* 💪 Encourage them to do their best—no pressure, just their best effort!
* 📖 Take their time, read carefully, and check their work.
* 🧠 Remember that it’s okay not to know every answer. These assessments help us know what they’re ready to learn next.
* ❤️ Come in with a positive attitude and confidence!
A simple message tonight can make a big difference: “Take your time, work hard, and show what you know. I’m proud of you!”
We are excited to see how much our Eagles grow this year!
Learn. Lead. Live a Legacy.
Every day is a GREAT day to be an EAGLE! 🦅🖤💛

🚨 Important Transportation & Dismissal Reminder 🚨
Parents and Guardians,
Please take a moment to review our updated dismissal procedures for this school year.
🕝 Transportation Changes:
All transportation changes must be sent in writing with your child to Ms. Lisa before the start of the school day. We will not be accepting phone calls for transportation changes.
🚗 Student Sign-Outs:
There will be no student sign-outs after 2:30 p.m. unless it is an emergency. If you arrive after 2:30, you will need to wait until buses have loaded and departed before your child can be signed out.
These procedures help ensure the safety of all of our CES Eagles and allow our staff enough time to prepare for a smooth and accurate dismissal.
Thank you for your understanding, cooperation, and continued support as we work together to keep our students safe! 🖤💛🦅

As we begin another great school year, we’d like to remind everyone of our morning drop-off procedures to help keep our students safe and our arrival process running smoothly.
🦅 Morning Drop-Off Reminders
• Parents should say their goodbyes at the front entrance. Parents are not permitted inside the building during morning arrival.
• If using the drop-off line, please have your child(ren) ready to exit the vehicle when you reach the front of the line.
• If you’d like to walk your child to the front door, please park in our visitor parking area rather than stopping in the drop-off lane.
Your patience, cooperation, and support help us provide a safe, efficient, and welcoming start to each day for all of our students.
Thank you for partnering with us to make every day a GREAT day to be an EAGLE! 🖤💛🦅
