C.E.S. students celebrated "World Read Aloud Day” by taking a Book Walk through the school hallway! The Student Lighthouse Team, in collaboration with the Johnson Co. Public Library, created the book display that will later be moved to the walking trail at Thealka Park for our entire community to enjoy!

CES Sixth Grade had a wonderful life experience giving presents and singing Christmas carols to the residents of Mountain Manor. We would like to thank everyone who donated items to make today a success. Please pass on kindness to someone else. Today was a blessing for us all!
On this Giving Tuesday 2024, our CES 6th graders visited and gifted items to the residents of our local nursing home. We are very proud of our students for preparing for and participating in this wonderful service learning project! Way to go, Eagles!
