Congratulations to second graders Aiden Hannah, Alaina Banks, and Elliana Porter for becoming 100% fluent in addition and subtraction in Reflex.🦅




Second graders that read all 220 sight words earned their reward. As a reward, they earned the chance to pie Mrs. Vanhoose, Miss Wilson, and Mrs. Gullet in the face. Everyday is a great day to be an Eagle!🦅











Mrs. Miller and Mr. Blair's 5th/6th grade students today practiced Leader in Me Habit 8: Find Your Voice and Inspire Others to Find Theirs. Kagan Structure Continuous Round Robin was used to brainstorm ways students could help others find their voice. All students ended the activity with one compliment to each group member. Now everyone reading this "Pay it Forward" to someone else that may need a kind word or smile today!😃





Great day to be an EAGLE💛🦅💛4th grade students enjoyed the bike safety program that Doug Beckhart brings to CES through Norton Children's Hospital!

Mrs. Vanhoose's 2nd graders were excited to start cursive handwriting today.



One of our lead teachers, Mrs. Duncan, models a Kagan structure with Mrs. Vickers first grade.

Mrs. Vanhoose's students wrote and delivered friendly letters to Mr. Conley telling him what they liked about our school.

Kindergarten had a special guest read to them today. Thank you, JCHS junior, Madelyn Burchett.



Our 6th graders did an amazing job reading to Kindergarten and 1st graders. Way to go!








Students work with Mrs. Wright to improve their writing skills.



Students in Mrs. Miller's Language Arts class are working diligently on their on-demand writing. The students finished the class by conferencing with one another to improve each writing piece.





Mrs. Vanhoose's class celebrated meeting their weekly iReady Wigs with a Frosty from Wendy's.
