EAGLE FAMILY,
As many of you are aware, we will start JC Brick and Mortar for those that requested to attend on Monday October 12. We have some important information to pass along to you.
MASKS ARE TO BE WORN AT ALL TIMES FOR GRADES 1-6 (unless they are eating) !!
Student temperatures will be taken daily either on the bus, if they are bus riders or in person, if they are a parent drop off.
**Doors will open at 7:30 each morning**
Students that are picked up will be in the following spots for pick up at 3:00 p.m. (as soon as the buses pull out.) We will bring the student out as each grade finishes their pickups to ensure safety protocols.
Kindergarten - Front Door
1st Grade - 2nd/3rd Grade Outside door
2nd Grade - 2nd/3rd Grade Outside door (please wait until 1st grade is finished)
3rd Grade - 2nd/3rd Grade Outside door (please wait until 2nd grade is finished)
4th Grade - Front Door
5th Grade - 5th/6th Grade Outside door
6th Grade - 5th/6th Grade Outside door

**Chromebooks need to be brought to school daily fully charged!! Students are not allowed to share any supplies at this time. Please make sure that your child brings their supplies and Chromebooks daily!!
**We have installed water filling stations since no water fountains will be in use. Students may bring a refillable water bottle from home.

Let us start by recognizing JCHS Principal Noel Crum. Just this year Mr. Crum was named the 2020 High School Principal of the Year by The Kentucky Association of Secondary School Principals. For any girl in grades 3rd-6th who wishes to play girls basketball practice will start Thursday (September 24th) from 3:00-5:30. Girls must have a current physical to participate. Players are required to wear a mask and have their temperatures checked upon entering the building.

Today was an exciting day for some students at Central Elementary as they hosted guest speakers from the University of Kentucky Cheer team and Scratch the mascot. Students in Ms. Ratliff, Mrs. Bowen, Mrs. Chafin, and Mrs. Crace’s classes were all part of this wonderful story time experience. Special thank you to the University of Kentucky and Mr. Brent Tackett for making today possible.


Any girl grades 3rd-6th enrolled at Central Elementary who wishes to play AAU basketball there will be an informational meeting Monday (9/14) @ 5:00 at CES.
