Prior to yesterday's Black and Gold Battles, students who were awarded school-wide jobs for the 2024/2025 school year were recognized. These hard-working students each received a leadership medal to honor their dedication and service to our school. Congratulations to our Students Lighthouse Team, Environmental Supervisors, Newscasters, Paparazzi, Lunch Crew, Data Trackers, Announcers, Office Assistants, Sundance Crew and Gym Helpers!
C.E.S. October Community Spotlight...School and Public Safety Workers! Thank you to ALL who work hard to keep us safe every day! This month we gave special recognition to the family members of our students who serve our community! We appreciate and celebrate you!
Central Elementary School students and staff would like to congratulate our Family Resource Youth Service Center Coordinator, Belinda Meek, on being nominated for the 2024 Harry J. Cowherd Award for Center Excellence! We are so grateful for the difference that Belinda makes at our school and in our community!

In Mrs. Holbrook's Language Arts Lab this week, students utilized Kagan strategies while learning about Compound Sentences, Personification and Context Clues!
Fourth graders celebrated last week's accomplishment of all of them passing their lessons in iReady Reading and Math by enjoying Wendy's Frosty’s!

Join us in welcoming our FSCS Mentors from JCHS, Ms. Alexis Parrigin and Ms. Kendra Dixon. They jumped right in today and began tutoring. We are happy to have them at CES!
