Congratulations to 8th graders Cara Stephens, Parker Blanton, and Anna Grace Pleasant who medaled at the KHSAA Region 9 swim meet on Sunday 1/18/26! Cara placed 6th in the 50 freestyle; Parker placed 7th in the 100 backstroke and 8th in the 200 freestyle; and, Anna Grace placed 8th in the 100 breaststroke. Cara also was a part of both the 200 medley and the 200 freestyle relays that placed 2nd, so she will go on to compete at the state swim meet. Great job Cara, Parker, and Anna Grace!

School Closure: January 16 and January 19
The Johnson County School District will not be in session tomorrow, Friday, January 16, due to illness and to allow extended time for sanitation of school facilities. School will also be closed on Monday, January 19, in observance of Martin Luther King Jr. Day. Rest up, Golden Eagles, and come back ready to soar.
